Miyajima Torii
October 15, 2010Matija Grguric presents a recreation of the famous Miyajima Torii from Japan. The shrine is incredible well done mostly because of the soft way the roof was made.

Japanese bell
September 14, 2010Today I’ll be presenting a small MOC of a Japanese bell built by Nathan. The construction shows elaborated techniques but very efficient in the end result. I loved the frogs as the final touch.
Japonese barracks
April 10, 2010LakMause built a brilliant barracks from ancient Japan. The roof is incredible well done. Make sure you won’t miss the plenty of details by looking at his gallery on Brickshelf.
Ninja weaponery
March 14, 2010I missed a good ninja MOC but Aaron filled that gap by presenting a nice set of ninja weapons. I’m not sure about the real scale, but I would say that they fit between half and full-size comparing to real ones.
You may see the original picture here.
Just a quick footnote, ninjas were in fact mercenaries of feudal Japan that became very popular in the USA and Europe culture at the XX century.
The general is summoned to war
November 20, 20092 Much Caffeine has submitted an interesting samurai castle into the Colossal Castle Contest at www.classic-castle.com. I will point the technique used to build the roof as one of the best features of this MOC.
